2015 Sportsman's Challenge annual shoot
2015 Couples Shoot
On Saturday the 18th of April we held the first couples shoot at Miller Ranch in Sprague, WA. We had some great weather with lite winds to shoot in, with targets from 200 to over 1200 yards consisting f both big and small game targets. My father came out to grill our kabobs that Casey and I put together the night before and to make sure we didn't leave to many left overs. In all we had a good time with lots of targets and space to shoot, not to mention a chance for attendees to see what the terrain would bee like for the 4th annual sportsman's challenge.
Thanks to you who came
2014 -15 Small game shoots(these pictures are from the shoots held from nov 2014 through march 2015)
At these shoots small game targets were set out from 125 to 600 yards, with each shoot having a separate accuracy shot that was for fun, but there was something for the ones who were able to conquer the challenge. in Dec we had present labels set at just over 100 yards and the shooters had to center punch them with no visual reference to center
Jan there were shooting aces from bell and Carlson that was like the dec. shoot center punch
Feb we had plastic easter eggs that were about 3" long filled with flour for visual effect set over 350 yards with one shot to break one egg.
3rd annual Sportsman's Challenge
May 3rd 2014
Saturday May 3rd we ran the 3rd annual shoot and I think it was a huge success, with shooters from over 8 hours away traveling in and camping out to be able to strut their stuff with 25 mph winds at times throughout the day. We had youth who did great and beating out many adults. Read more in past events with lots of pictures.
